1) PEFC – Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification – Cedarland has been a  proud member since 2006 . This program involves tracking of forest products originating in a sustainable defined forest area. Cedarland tracks wood from certified solid wood products through the remanufacturing processs to the delivery to our customers.

2) B.C. Wood – www.bcwood.com – is an organization that promotes wood from British Columbia. Their mandate is to assist members develop and expand North American and International markets through market intelligence, trade shows, trade missions and wood supply network.

3) Forintek  – http://www.forintek.com. Forintek is Canada’s national wood products research institute. They give technical support to members in optimizing manufacturing process, drying, building systems and industry standards. They also conduct market and economic studies and play a key role in developing building codes and standards nationally and internationally.

4) CMSA – www.canserv.org. Canadian Mill Services is an accredited agency with the Canadian Lumber Standards Accreditation Board (CLSAB) and the American Lumber Standards (ALS). CMSA is an independent third party for ensuring the integrity of grading and ensuring compliance with export standards. Under the CMSA we have certification for: a). Canadian Heat Treated Wood Products Certification Program (CHTWPCP) and b). Canadian Debarking and Grub Hole Control Program (CDGHCP).

5) EDC – www.edc.ca – Cedarland Forest Products is affiliated with Export Development Canada (EDC). The EDC allows Cedarland the opportunity to enter new markets and expand existing ones.
